About the Pines Christian School

The Pines Christian School is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization devoted to the Christian education of elementary children.

The Pines Christian School continues the ministry that Western Ave Baptist Church & School started over sixty years ago. Our schools maintains a family atmosphere devoted to quality Christian education for children at a reasonable price. Our program is designed to provide today’s busy families’ educational and daycare needs.

Statement of Faith
The Pines operates according to the Christian principles revealed in the Holy Bible. We integrate faith into our academic instruction and child/staff relationships. These principles are used as a guide for our ethical and moral standards for behavior and business practices.

Curriculum
We use the traditional Abeka Christian curriculum to teach Spelling, Language, Phonics, and Arithmetic. The Common Core standards are covered in Reading, Science, Health, and Social Studies through The Studies Weekly and the online i-Ready Reading Curriculum. Our teachers are devoted to teach with a biblical perspective and committed to our students’ success.

Chapel Services
Our K-5 students worship every Wednesday together at chapel. We also begin our daily morning assemblies with prayer, and start the day with a devotional. We strive to provide excellent education that is Christ Centered.
